I can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks since my last post! I really took my break quite seriously and have spent some very much needed time with my family.
Without much ado, Happy 2014!!!
2013 was pretty good to our family and I am so excited to see what 2014 has in store for us!! It is the first of the month, which means it's time to link up with Farley for her Currently Linky Party! Because I've decided to wait until late in the day to post my January Currently, I found a few other resolution linkies that I decided I just had to join! But first, here's what's going on in my world!
Listening/ Loving/ Wanting: These all go together for me and all revolve around my amazing daughter! I can't believe it but my little girl turned one in December right before Christmas! We had a Brown Bear, Brown Bear themed party and she loved her cake!
One of Ainsleigh's birthday gifts was this cat piano.
She absolutely loves it and dances to it all day long! It is beyond precious!
This was technically her second Christmas, but really the first one she was actually able to participate in (last year she was 5 days old). Santa came and brought her this amazing kitchen! She loves to make coffee for her daddy and put water in her cup in the fridge! She also got food and pots to play with. So much fun!
I can't believe how fast this first year has flown by! I just want a little more time with my little girl!
Thinkng: Christmas is still up at our house. I like leaving it up until the new year but then it's just a hassle. My goal is to have it all taken down and packed up tomorrow!
Needing: As I said at the top of this post, I've taken my break very seriously! I really haven't done a thing for school and it has been glorious! I do go back on Monday, though so I really need to figure out what the next couple of weeks are going to look like! I also have unit assessments I gave right before break that need to be graded!
Linky Party #2
Here are my blogging resolutions!
I really enjoy blogging, but it can take up a lot of my time which is beyond precious to me! I think twice a week is reasonable and won't be completely draining on me. I'm also not going to beat myself up if I don't blog as often as I'd like. Really 2 and 3 go hand in hand. Now that I'm no longer a no-reply blogger, I'm hoping to make some better friendships in the blogging world.
Linky #3
Blog Hoppin is hosting a 5 day linky party for the new year and day 1 is fun and family.
My resolution for 2014 for my family is to make every moment count! Time flies and I don't want to miss out on anything!
Ainsley is just adorable! I remember when my youngest (she just turned 19 yesterday) was obsessed with kitchens. From the time she turned 1 to about 10, she wanted the newest and greatest kitchen that came out every single year. She got them too, lol. I also need to put grades in, but I am waiting for another day... I just love doing nothing but hanging out with my girls! I love your blog design, it goes very well with my classroom. I am your newest follower thanks to Farley's rule of 3. I hope to become blogging buddies in 2014!
